Our work life choices workshops are designed to help people clarify what balance means to them and help them to create manageable and lasting change that will have an impact on their happiness. Recent research coming out of the United States tells us that happy people are more engaged with their work, build better relationships with colleagues and clients, have less sick days and remain in a role longer.
Our focus is on helping your employees understand that happiness is accessible and it can often be as simple as learning to make the most of each day.
We call the workshops 'Work Life Choices' because the road to balance is different for each person, as is the end result - there is no 'one size fits all' solution. One person's balanced life could be another's road to stress breakdown. Each participant has the chance to create a tailor-made plan that will work for them.
Our Work Life Choices workshops are usually facilitated by Kate James.
As Kate's client Cliodhna Coughlan, HR Learning & Development, Aviva Australia said, 'Sessions including Managing Stress, Meditation and Work Life Balance have engaged our employees and created an awareness and understanding into the importance of maintaining one's health, both mentally and physically. Kate's warm and understanding nature combined with her passion and enthusiasm for these topics has ensured a continued successful program for our employees.'
In our work life choices program, you will:
The program is very interactive, using a series of processes. The program allows time for discussion about concepts so that participants can fully engage with and understand the material.

'Whether speaking one on one with clients or addressing large audiences, Kate speaks eloquently and with warmth, bringing simplicity to some of life's most daunting questions.'Christina Hickie, Consultant, Fenton Communications
'Work life balance sometimes seems a term that is quite hard to define, but Kate prompted lots of thought-starters for me. One thing I found vital - recognition that the balance can and does change frequently, depending on issues that are happening in either my work or private life. I hadn't truly realised that before now.'Executive Assistant to GM Human Resources & Corporate Affairs, Powercor/CitiPower
